Next meeting

I have a proposal.... since we don't have (to my knowledge) a facilitator, what about if we bring in personal projects for our next meeting and have a constructive critique. We could bring in our poems/stories too, and then something that we would personally like some help with. What do you think?

    Perhaps we could try a change of format for this coming meeting. As Heather is willing to facilitate, could we ask her to give us an assignment to bring to read on the 27th (I always find it stimulating to face the challenge of an assignment!)but instead of beginning with a writing exercise as we usually do, perhaps we could share our personal projects for constructive criticism, as Susan suggests.

    The proposal was intended as plan B in case we didn't have a facilitator; I think we should go with Heather facilitating the whole thing (if that's OK with you, Heather) and schedule a critique night for the future.

    For anyone who wasn't at the last meeting, there were a few of us who agreed to work on poems for the library's poetry contest. The deadline is April 30, so we thought we would share these at the April 27th meeting. Write on....

    No matter what we decide to do I'd really like to do a critique night for the BIG projects sometime in the near future.
